Official Scorers in Sauk County, Wisconsin

If you have taken a trophy buck or bear in the bluffs of Sauk County, you will need a certified official to measure the rack or skull for the record books. The driftless terrain around Baraboo and the Wisconsin River produces heavy-beamed whitetails every season. Getting an accurate entry ensures your harvest is properly documented according to Boone and Crockett or Pope and Young standards.

There is currently one official scorer available in the county, located in Baraboo. John Ramsey provides measuring services for local hunters who need a formal score for their trophy. Make sure to follow all drying period requirements before scheduling your appointment to ensure the measurements are final and valid for entry.
