Official Scorers in Oconto County, Wisconsin

If you take a trophy buck or bear in the big woods of Oconto County, you will need a certified professional to put a tape to it. The heavy cedar swamps and oak ridges around Suring produce heavy-racked whitetails every season that often meet the minimums for state record books. Having a local contact makes it easier to handle the mandatory drying period and scheduling requirements without traveling out of the county.

Pat Gauthier provides official scoring services in the Suring area. Whether you are looking for a Pope and Young or Boone and Crockett measurement, he can verify the rack or skull once the drying period is complete. Getting an official entry ensures your harvest is documented correctly for the Wisconsin buck and bear records.
