Official Scorers in Iron County, Wisconsin

If you take a trophy buck or bear in the heavy timber around Hurley, you need a certified measurement to see how it stacks up for the record books. Iron County offers rugged terrain and deep snow, producing mature animals that often meet the minimums for state or national recognition. Local scoring services provide the official entry paperwork for Boone and Crockett or Pope and Young.

Gary Villnow in Hurley provides official measuring for hunters in the northern part of the county. These measurements are taken after the required drying period to ensure an accurate final score. Having a local contact in the U.P. border region makes it easier to get your mount certified without driving down toward the central part of the state.
