Official Scorers in Door County, Wisconsin

If you take a buck in Door County that puts you in the running for the record books, you need to find an official measurer to verify the rack. Whether you are hunting the cedar swamps in the northern part of the peninsula or the farmland near the canal, the drying period remains the same before a score becomes official.

There is currently one official scorer listed in Sturgeon Bay. Tom McCaulley provides measuring services for hunters who need to document their trophies for organizations like Boone and Crockett or the Pope and Young Club. Contacting a local measurer ensures your harvest is recorded correctly according to standard scoring protocols.
