Official Scorers in Washburn County, Wisconsin

If you pull a heavy buck or a clean bear out of the Washburn County woods, you need a certified measurer to put an official number on it. The thick cedar swamps and oak ridges around Spooner produce solid racks every season, but getting them into the record books requires a specific scoring process. Local scorers verify that your harvest meets the minimum entry requirements for state or national registries.

There is currently one official scorer available in the Spooner area. Ken Zimmerman provides measuring services for hunters who need their trophies formally documented. Make sure you follow all drying period requirements before scheduling a session to ensure the measurements are accurate and final.
