Official Scorers in Monroe County, Missouri

Monroe County sits in a prime section of the Missouri Northeast Region, where big bucks are common along the Salt River basin and surrounding oak ridges. When you tag a mature whitetail near Monroe City or around Mark Twain Lake, getting an accurate measurement is the next step. Keeping track of local genetics requires consistent scoring by those who know the specific regional standards for typical and non-typical racks.

There is currently one official scorer available in the county to help you document your harvest. Alex Ross operates out of Monroe City and provides the measurements needed for state and national record books. This service ensures your deer is handled according to official guidelines, providing a verified score for your season’s best buck without having to drive far from the local hunting grounds.
