Official Scorers in Atchison County, Missouri

If you harvest a buck in Atchison County, getting an official measurement is the only way to verify the score for the record books. The Missouri River bottomlands and the rolling hills around Rock Port produce heavy-racked whitetails every season. Whether you are aiming for the state rankings or just want an accurate net score for your trophy, working with a certified measurer ensures the rack is evaluated according to strict club standards.

There is currently one official scorer available in the Rock Port area. Eric E. Abbott provides scoring services for hunters who need their trophies taped after the mandatory drying period. Contacting a local scorer in the northwest corner of the state saves you a long drive to larger cities when you need a rack officially entered. Always call ahead to confirm the drying requirements and schedule a time for the measurement.
