Official Scorers in Vermilion County, Illinois

Vermilion County offers high-quality whitetail habitat, particularly along the Little Vermilion River and the timbered draws near Indianola. If you take a buck that meets the minimums for the state record book or a national organization, you will need a certified professional to complete the paperwork. These measurements must be taken after the mandatory drying period to ensure the score is accurate and official.

You can find an official measurer located in Indianola who handles scoring for the area. Dale F. Good provides scoring services for hunters who need their trophies verified for entry into the record books. Having a local contact in the southern part of the county makes it easier to get your deer measured without driving across the state.
