Official Scorers in Kendall County, Illinois

Kendall County has a reputation for producing heavy-framed whitetails, especially in the woodlots and river bottoms surrounding Oswego. If you have harvested a buck that meets the minimums, you need to get it officially measured to secure its place in the record books. Local hunters often rely on certified measurers to ensure the scoring process follows specific organizational guidelines for symmetry and mass.

There is currently one official scorer available in the Oswego area. Fred W. Achilles provides measuring services for hunters looking to document their trophies. Whether your buck was taken during the archery season or a firearm hunt, having a professional handle the rack ensures the measurements are accurate and eligible for submission to state or national scoring systems.
