Official Scorers in Meigs County, Ohio

Meigs County sits in a prime section of the Ohio River Valley, known for producing heavy-beamed whitetails due to the rugged terrain and abundant agriculture. If you have taken a trophy buck near Pomeroy or along the rolling hills of the interior, you need a certified measurement to document the rack for the record books.

There are currently two official scorers available in the county, both located in Pomeroy. Ethan Steger and other local measurers provide the technical expertise required to handle entries for organizations like Buckeye Big Bucks. These services ensure your harvest is scored accurately according to established professional standards before you head to the taxidermist.
