Official Scorers in Defiance County, Ohio

If you have taken a buck in Defiance County that looks like it might meet the minimums for the Buckeye Big Buck Club or Boone and Crockett, you need to get it measured by a certified official. The agricultural land and woodlots around the Tiffin River produce heavy deer, but a field dressed weight only tells part of the story. You need a formal score sheet to document the rack's symmetry and mass properly.

There is currently one official scorer available in the county located in Sherwood. Having a local contact like Shane Beardsley makes it easier to handle the mandatory drying period requirements without driving across the state. Whether you are looking for a local entry or a national record, these measurements provide the final word on your harvest.
