Official Scorers in Lucas County, Ohio

If you harvest a buck in Lucas County and need it officially measured for the record books, you can find a certified scorer located in Monclova. Having an official score is necessary if you intend to enter a trophy into the Buckeye Big Buck Club or other state scoring systems. These measurements are taken using standardized methods to ensure accuracy for typical and non-typical racks.

Steve Siegfried provides scoring services out of Monclova for local hunters. Make sure to follow all drying period requirements before scheduling your session. Most official scorers require the rack to be cleaned and dried for at least 60 days after the harvest date. Contact the scorer directly to arrange a time to have your trophy measured and recorded.
