Official Scorers in Lawrence County, Ohio

If you take down a buck in the hills of Lawrence County and think it might meet the minimums for the Buckeye Big Buck Club or another record book, you can find a certified measurer in Ironton. These scorers are trained to handle the specific requirements for typical and non-typical racks taken with a bow, crossbow, or firearm.

Most official scoring happens after the mandatory drying period. Mike Dickess provides these services locally, ensuring you don't have to drive far from the Ironton area to get your trophy measured. Be sure to call ahead to discuss the condition of the antlers and to set a specific time for the measurement.
