Official Scorers in Stokes County, North Carolina

If you put down a buck in the foothills of the Sauratown Mountains, you might need a formal measurement for the record books. Stokes County has rugged terrain that produces heavy-racked whitetails, and getting an accurate score requires a trained eye. Local hunters often need these services after the muzzleloader or rifle seasons to see how their harvest stacks up against state minimums.

There is currently one official measurer available in the county, located in Westfield. Robin Gray provides scoring services for hunters in the northern part of the county near the Virginia line. You should contact the scorer directly to arrange a time for them to put a tape to your trophy.
