Official Scorers in Brunswick County, North Carolina

If you harvest a buck in the coastal pine stands or swamp edges of Brunswick County, you may need a measurement for the state record book. The local landscape offers a mix of agricultural fields and thick cover that can produce quality racks, particularly near the Green Swamp area. Having a trained professional evaluate your trophy ensures the scoring follows official Boone and Crockett or North Carolina Bowhunters Association standards.

There is currently one official scorer available in Shallotte to handle these measurements. Doug Clayton provides scoring services for hunters in the southern part of the county. It is best to contact him directly to arrange a time to drop off your mount or antlers for a formal evaluation after the required drying period.
