Official Scorers in Gaston County, North Carolina

If you harvest a potential trophy in Gaston County, you can find a certified measurer locally to get an official entry for the record books. The rolling terrain and hardwood bottoms near the South Fork Catawba River consistently produce quality whitetails that meet the minimum requirements for state recognition. Having a local contact saves you the drive to regional check stations or trade shows when you need a rack taped.

David Allen in Mount Holly is currently the primary contact for scoring services in this area. He provides official measurements for hunters looking to document their deer or other big game according to standardized scoring systems. Make sure your trophies are properly dried and prepared before scheduling a time to meet for a formal measurement.
