Official Scorers in Ste. Genevieve County, Missouri

Ste. Genevieve County holds some of the best genetics in the Missouri Ozarks, and many hunters here end up with racks that belong in the books. If you take a heavy buck near the Mississippi River bottomlands or the rugged ridges of the Mark Twain National Forest, you will need a certified professional to put a tape on it. These local officials provide the formal measurements required for state and national record entries.

There are currently two official scorers available in the county, both located in the town of Ste. Genevieve. You can contact individuals like Ray E. Joggerst to schedule an appointment for a rack measurement once the mandatory drying period is complete. Having a local contact in town makes it easier to verify your trophy without driving across the state to find a certified measurer.
