Official Scorers in Polk County, Missouri

Polk County sits in a prime section of the Ozarks where heavy-racked bucks are common during the November firearms season. If you take a trophy deer or turkey in the local timber, you will need a certified professional to get an official entry for the record books. Local hunters typically look to the Bolivar and Walnut Grove areas to find experienced officials who understand the specific scoring requirements for Missouri game.

There are currently two official scorers available to assist hunters in this part of the county. You can find these services through Ron Scurlock in Bolivar or by heading south toward Walnut Grove. These contacts handle the measurements and paperwork necessary to document your harvest. Make sure to reach out and schedule a time to meet after the required drying period has passed for your trophy.
