Official Scorers in Pike County, Missouri

Pike County hunters putting a buck on the ground have access to several official scorers within a short drive. Whether you are hunting the river bluffs near Louisiana or the timber around Ashburn, getting an accurate measurement is the final step for any trophy. These scorers are trained to handle whitetails taken during the firearms or archery seasons and can help navigate the paperwork for state or national record books.

Currently, there are three scorers available in the area, including Dirk Otterstein in Kirksville. Having local contacts in Ashburn and Louisiana makes it easier to schedule a session once the required drying period is over. These individuals provide the technical measurements needed to verify your harvest without having to travel outside the county.
