Food Plots in Marathon County, Wisconsin

Marathon County holds a lot of deer, but the heavy agricultural pressure around Mosinee means your woods need a draw to keep them there. Establishing a consistent food source helps hold mature bucks on your property throughout the rut and late season. Dealing with the rocky soil and varied drainage in this part of Wisconsin can be difficult if you do not have the right equipment to break new ground or reach remote timber openings.

Working with a local specialist like Genesis Custom Food Plots in Mosinee helps ensure the right seed blends are used for the local climate. These services handle the heavy lifting, including soil testing, site clearing, and planting. Proper installation creates a reliable destination for wildlife that lasts well into the winter months.
