Tunes and string installs are typically modest shop-labor charges; arrow builds are priced per dozen plus components. Expect longer waits and less flexible scheduling in the weeks right before opening day.

Timing matters

Get strings replaced and your bow tuned in the off-season. Shops back up badly in the last three weeks before the opener.
